Pre-poll wins elections. It’s that simple.
From 22nd April till the 2nd May, over 30% of the Mornington Peninsula will cast their votes early. Many of them are undecided. Many are disengaged. And many will make their decision based on the last conversation they have before marking their ballot.
We need to be there, every single day, outnumbering the major parties, having real conversations, and making sure voters know exactly what’s at stake.
This is where elections are won and lost. If you can give time at pre-poll, you are directly shaping the outcome of this campaign.
Early Voting Booths will be at Mornington, Mt. Eliza, Rosebud and Hastings, and we will need volunteers at all of them from 8am to 6pm, starting on 22 April and going up to 2nd May (excluding ANZAC Day and Sun 27 April).
There are 4 shifts for each day, with each shift going for 2.5 hours. We require a minimum of 5 volunteers per shift, and will need at least 10 per shift for the last 3 days across ALL the early voting booths, as thee last few days see the most traffic.
